File transfer from linux to windows

For file transfer from Linux to windows we will be using samba to transfer the files.Another way to transfer the files from linux to windows or from windows to linux is done by Winscp

Winscp is a free SFTP, FTP and SCP client for Windows

you can get Winscp client from http://winscp.net.
After installing,run the client it will open the box as mentioned in the figure below.
then type the ip address,hostname and password of the linux machine.Now you can able to copy the file from windows to linux or from linux to windows
